Amir Khan, the World Boxing Welterweight Champion paid his tribute to the Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif by presenting him with his Championship belt. Amir Khan paid homage to Gen Raheel Sharif for his resilient efforts to root out terrorism from the country.
According to the ISPR, Amir Khan was there to congratulate and honor the Army Chief for his supreme efforts to establish peace in the country that has been suffering from terrorism for more than a decade now.
Amir Khan thanked the President of World Boxing Council Mauricio Sulaiman and Director General ISPR Lt. Gen Asim Bajwa for allowing him to present the championship belt to COAS Gen Raheel Sharif.
This is a special Championship belt that has been customized by Amir Khan to pay tribute to his heroes. The Belt features images of Legendary Boxer Mohammad Ali and the COAS Gen Raheel Sharif along with the flags of Pakistan and United Kingdom embellishing it further.
