Chilean youngster Marcelo Allende to get a permanent deal from ArsenalChilean midfielder Marcelo Allende has had two trials at Arsenal so far this year. But according to FIFA rules, Arsenal could not offer him a deal until his birthday.

So, this Friday, a permanent deal could be on Allende’s way after he turns 18.
Currently, the young midfielder is in Chile, playing for Deportes Santa Cruz and the Gunners are determined to bring him over during the summer.

Allende began his career at the academy that has produced some of the country’s biggest players, the Cobreola’s academy. He can play on either wing or behind the striker.

In 2015, his performances for the FIFA Under-17 World Cup for Cobreola’s youth sides saw him named captain of Chile’s squad.
