Pakistan won the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 and named the title, and after the Championship ended, ICC Champions Trophy 2017 Team was announced by the officials which included 4 Pakistani players, but the most shocking news is that Mohammad Amir, Pakistani fast bowler who took 3 major wickets of Indian batsmen in the last and final match is not included in the squad.
Muhammad Amir took 3 major batsmen down which included Rohait Sharma who was dismissed on his 3rd delivery. Second batsman who was his target was Virat Kohli, the best batsman declared, by scoring only 5 runs from 9 balls, and the last main batsman down by this bowler was Shikhar Dhawan who also scored 21 out of 22 which was not acceptable by such a team, as India was and is still declared as the most strongest batting line up team.
The main reason why this young bowler is not included in the team is that he was able to take wickets in the last few matches only and did not perform well in the early matches. Although he was able to control the run rate and had the best economy rate in other matches, but because of lack of wickets, he was not selected in the ICC Champions Trophy Team 2017.
