Squash players in Pakistan are looking forward to play against Egypt’s top squash players in coming days. The series Legends vs Champions, which is set for April 5 in PAF Museum, Karachi seems to be in trouble after their main sponsors show no interest in event after investing in PSL.

Pakistan Squash Federation is looking for new sponsors for their event.

“A top PSF official called me today to once again provide them the sponsors we arranged for the series earlier. When I asked what happened to their own sponsors, the official said they backed out,” said a source involved in this project. “We are helping them find new sponsors and hopefully they will organise this event,” said the source, adding that they had to arrange good sponsorship since Egyptian players had shown concerns over low prize money PSF offered to them.

The event can be a milestone to revive Squash in country.
