Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif were spotted with a match fixer during the Pakistan Super League Season 2

Both the batsmen were suspended from the PSL Season 2 (Dubai) on the allegation of meeting a match fixer during the Season. As they were alleged with match-fixing, the officials of PCB have said that they will be facing a ban on the Cricket (6-months till 5 years of ban from Cricket, or it might also result in lifetime ban).

As they were presenting Pakistan at this occasion and event, even their own team Islamabad United also stood against this issue, and the team’s spokesperson said that the team has zero-tolerance over such act and that is the reason they instantly suspended both the players and sent them back to Pakistan for the hearing.

According to the sources, PCB got their hands on the confessional statements of both the players and they will be presenting their charge sheet on Tuesday.

Sources have said that in total there were 6 players (Including these two) on whom the match fixing allegation would be doubtful, but on these two it was proved and hence they were suspended at the spot. Other players include M. Irfan, Zulfiqar Babar and Shahzaib Hassan were questioned, but they also confirmed that no more players will be suspended from the League anymore, but once they return, they have to prove themselves.
