Zlatan Ibrahimovic reportedly did not accept Manchester United's offer believing "it would be right"Reportedly, the 35-year-old Manchester United striker, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has recently said ‘No’ to the Manchester United’s £13 million offer, which was in order to extend his current contract, because he believes that it is not right to be paid while you cannot offer your services, as he is still suffering from the knee injury.

Mourinho reportedly wanted to deal with a one-year contract extension, but Ibrahimovic could not accept the offer.

His deal expires at the end of the 2016-17 season.

On Sunday, Ibrahimovic took to Instagram to thank fans and deny the retirement rumors, he said:
“One thing is for sure, I decide when its time to stop and nothing else. Giving up is not an option.”

He is currently in America for surgery. Mourinho talked of Ibrahimovic’s next move, per Rob Dawson for ESPN FC, he said:
“I don’t know, I’m not interested in it. I just want the difficult surgery to go [well].”
